German Rope BagGerman rope bag made from WWII materials. This bag style was very common in the DDR, but I do not know if it has roots in WWII or not. This is the first bag I have seen that actually looks WWII; I have seen probably hundreds, but all were very obviously postwar East German. I will still say that I think this is probably very early postwar, but it does have potential to be a WWII example. These rope bags are usually part of Feuerwehr equipment. Note:

Pretty durable, ears not so much
Pretty good but chewed through the ears in just a few minutes. The body seems more durable. We have a goose/duck from this brand that has held up extremely well.

Another one bites the dust!!
Another one bites the dust. It looked like it was gonna be strong enough for our new puppy. We adopted a border collie who is about six months old. This was supposed to be durable. Lasted about a week. Might be good for older dogs. I wouldn’t recommend.
