Fill your bottle about two thirds full of very warm water and a few drops of bleach. Put the cap on, shake well, then let it sit for an hour. Rinse well. This toy is not good for aggressive chewers. We have a beagle that was able to chew at a seam and had the stuffing coming out after less than a few days. I had to throw it away. The only good thing about it is the squeaker sounds like a duck. It quacks. My dog loved the sound and would go nuts when he heard it. Sadly it didn't last long.
