WWII U.S. McCord Front Seam Swivel Loop M-1 Helmet Shell (1944)Description This is an original WWII U. S. front seam swivel loop M 1 helmet shell. It was produced by McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan and exhibits a lot number of "858G", approximately dating its production to early 1944. The helmet retains its original olive drab factory finish, cork texture, and OD#3 (khaki) chinstraps with steel hardware and a raised bar buckle.
