Nitrile rubber can tolerate short term dry running of the sealing lip. The operating temperature range without failure of nitrile rubber is 40 to +100 C. Exactly what I was looking for
These are exactly what I needed. I like the fact that you fill them with water so at the end of the season, I just emptied them and take them to my shed for storage. I also like that they have wheels on the bottom that rolls my umbrella around anywhere. They’re well with the money.
