It's squat heart shaped blade is wide enough for scooping compost into pots but the point is ideal for digging too. The smaller head lets you tamp down soil after planting, and the edge is ground semi sharp to ease cutting into the soil. DeWit tools are hand made in Holland using Swedish Boron
