This is first tumbled in ceramic media then finished in a corn cob media to polish yet leave to a satin finish. It will end your need to tie knots as the paracord ends slide thru and then are secured when you screw the two parts together.

These are awesome! They were easy to assemble. They are lightweight and easy to move. I was able to easily put all 6 pieces -(I ordered two sets)-into the back of my SUV at once, by myself (and I'm a short, older lady). Quality material. Very sturdy and steady. The first set I opened was a used one and did not include instructions, but it was still very easy to assemble and figure out. I recommend using a battery powered screwdriver. With that, the assembly of all 6 panels took less than 45 minutes.
