There is a separate stencil for each layer, with guidelines on each stencil for perfect alignment to a 3 x 8 cardstock panel when using alone. not tight enough
It did slip on my BMW M5 F90 oil filter — it wasn’t tight enough. I had to use a microfiber cloth to fill the gap and make it tighter in order to loosen the oil filter.
