Not too harsh
Each one holds a regular bar of soap. Not the wife’s imported French soap. Found the soap holds suds better if used while under water. Instead of lathering and washing first. Just wash under water. Trust me, it works better. The material is not harsh like a loofa. Gentle enough for the face and body. I can see how these will wear out after a few months. We have hard water and the material is already showing stains. Family likes them.

There are always little pieces of soap floating around in my shower and now this will ensure that they do not go to waste. These little soap holders are going to be great stocking stuffers! I kept one for myself because it’s the perfect amount of roughness to slough off dead skin and prep for shaving. I don’t think you even need to put a bar of soap in there (though it does help) but they work like those Korean body cloths. They feel handmade and are really gorgeous to display in the bathroom.
