IT WORKS if you turn in the direction of the arrow half way around. IT WON'T OPEN UNLESS YOU TURN the top in THE DIRECTION OF THE ARROW so it unlocks. You can lock it again so it won't leak - a nice feature. I love the product and the clean Alba brand. Recommend.

This shouldn't be that hard. I've bought other brands that spray just fine. It's a problem specific to alba.
