The packaging appears to be defective and potentially tampered with. Their skin wasn't irritated, they weren't red looking nor did they have an allergic reaction to the product. I find this to be far better than anything actually for pets. For a small pet this bottle last quite a while. The larger pets you'd need to use more of it more so considering how dirty they can get. Overall for my family's needs this has been a very great buy.
