This is my second time buying this pepper grinder. I first bought it 4 years ago. It is an attractive and sturdy pepper grinder, made of thick glass and metal top. Very easy to fill and did the work as intended for 4 years, and we are heavy pepperers. Then my son knocked it off the counter and it broke. Basically, if you are buying one to replace an older model, just save yourself the headache and buy two new ones if it bothers you that there’s different heights and jars.
